HTML, which stands for HyperText Markup Language, is a markup language used to create web pages. Users use 'codes' to format the web page.

what do I need to create HTML?
You dont need software, although you can get software to help you like Dreamweaver
but you will need:

• Computer
• Text editor. For example, Notepad (for Windows), Pico (for Linux), or Simpletext (Mac).
• Web Browser. For example, Firefox.
