So heres a short little biography about myself;
I was born on the 16th February 1993 in a hospital called the Heath I was due on Valentine's Day, but I decided to put my mum through 2 days of labour. I have lived all my life in Pentwyn so far, which is a place in Cardiff, which is the capital of a country called Wales. I spent 3 years living with my mum alone, not really knowing my real dad, then my mum met a bloke called Gareth, they got on and soon enough 2/3 years later got married. He then 'Adpoted' me if you like, and took leading role as my father, by law, so he is basically my dad, and has brought me up knowing so. Living in the Hawthorns we then decided to move to Llwyn Castan for a couple of years before finally moving to Waun Fach Estate. I grew up around animals mostly cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, rabbits, horses, you name it, so maybe that's the reason why I like them. My nan is like a second mother to me, she wasn't with my grandad when I was born, but they decided to get back together when I was about 6/7 years old. My mum had to work full time to pay for my care, and so did my 'Dad' so my Grandparents looked after me during holidays, breaks and weekends. We would always go out on fun trips away, see my cousins and of course go riding. They had the most beautiful over-flowing cottage garden, with sweet smelling flowers, a pond, and old-fashioned bricked walls, and it still hasn't changed a bit. When I was younger and started out in school I went to Glyn-Coed, but had fallen out with every child there, so I was re-located to St Davids at the age of 3. St Davids which was a brilliant primary school, and the Headmaster had been the best one in Wales for a few years running. It was a typical primary; sports days, longer breaks, christmas shows, lunch times. I remember in Year 6 having 'Duties' which is a good experience for when your growing up, and getting a job I suppose.
Primary School was the best thing so far I reckon, because you wouldn't judge anyone, and nobody judged you, popularity didn't exsist and everyone was friends. Nobody had attitude, nobody bitched, nobody was a smart arse. The best year at primary for me was probally Year 6, cause that's the year I can remember the best. Revising for our SATs (which no longer exsist) was so nerver wrecking, I remember sitting in that hall, I couldn't keep still, I think I had 'Ants in my pants'. We were the 'Big Kids' of the school and I liked it, kids looking up at you, having duties to help them. I remember one of the trips we went on; Atlantic Colege. That was one if the best trips I have ever been on. The haunted castle, the little accomodation we had, the activities we did, and of course the food! I remember on the last night everyone got together in the great outdoors and went camping. We set up 3 huge tents (1 for the boys, 1 for the girls, 1 for the teachers) and there was a huge fire right in the middle. Just as the sun was setting we played games like tag, hide and seek and mob. As the night grew dark we got out hot chocolate and all sang carols infront of the fire. At about 11:00pm we all set off to bed, and of course the girls were fighting over the best sleeping bag, and there was no room for me and my friend Hannah, so we slept outside, just me and her, in our sleeping bags, sleeping outside in the freezing cold, but I would prefer being out there with her, then inside the tent with them.
I also remember every year we had an annual trip to Bristol Zoo, or St Fagans. I prefered St Fagans, as it was welsh, they had the old fashioned shops, people acted like it was back in the day, there was old fashioned houses, carraige rides, while in Britol Zoo you walkes around all hot and sweaty looking at animals that you can't really see properly.
There was more respect in Primary then there is now in High School. In High School nobody really cares what you have to say or what you do, cause they've heard it all before, and well hormones and stuff make it impossible to talk to someone without them rolling there eyes, sighing or looking the other way. It's alot scarier coming to High School, people weren't as friendly, people pushed in corridors, the dinner que for food was conjested, and people smoked and swore.
I remember going on another amazing trip with the school to Holland. It was the first ever one that our teacher had organized. I was planning on going with my friend Olivia, but my other friend Roberta decided to come, so she did. It was so much fun, the long coach rides, watching a sunset on the beach, running around a hotel at 3:00am, stopping every 5 minutes for the loo, eating burgers and super sized meals at 6:00am, free ice-cream, and finally going to the Theme Park! I went on the scariest one there; Python, it had loops, and twists and a huge drop, and it was alot of fun, and I would really like to go there again.
So anyways lets gets back to the homelife;
I had my fare share of smoking and drinking, I don't regret it cause at one point it was the one thing I wanted to do, although I'll probally never smoke again. I don't advise anyone to go out drinking on the streets, or going out past 11:00pm, cause theres alot of dodgey people out there, and you can get lost pretty easily when your drunk.
So, back to smoking, I started in the summer of 2007 (I think or was it Spring?) and well I have to admit it was horrible at first, but I got used to it, inhaled it properly and generally thought I was 'cool' but little did I know that I was killing myself. So smoked about 2-3 a day, I would do anything to get my hands on one. I stole a couple from my mum, had '2 puff' from friends, and generally was addicted to nicotine. But there was a problem, my mother had found 'burns' in some areas of the carpet where I had dropped it, and I just made an excuse saying it was my candle. Later on she finally found out I was smoking behind her back, as she had smelt the smoke on me. So she made me quit, smoking at the age of 14 was not a good idea. But I couldnt help myself, I couldn't buy any because she wouldn't let me out, and the only thing left was hers, but little did I know she was couting them, I was soon caught out and given a lecture. So i quit, full stop, and so did my dad, as he was being a role model for me, and showing me that it isn't easy, even if he had been smoking alot longer than I have.
So that leaves me where I am today, well I'm now 15, a bit more mature than I used to be. I probally like cleaning than anyone else I know, because when you clean, you get this over-whelemed feeling and you feel much better, and it looks alot better.
So that basically sums up my life, obviously I've left out a huge amount of detail but if I wrote that I might be here all day, and I really havn't got that much spare time.
